Turmeric came to us with her sister Cayenne when their handicapped owner lost his home. Only 2 1/2 years old, it seems like these girls have been passed around a bit, which is why we are determined to find them a loving FOREVER home!<br/><br/>Turmeric is a little shy - she wasn't properly socialized as a kitten, so it has taken some time to get her to trust, but she has been doing amazing with our staff and volunteers! She will need a patient adopter who will continue to help her grow, but she has come so far from where she was. Turmeric is very food motivated so it won't be hard to earn her love, and before you know it she'll let you pet her and she'll even show you her playful side - she loves catnip toys!<br/><br/>Turmeric would love to go home with her sister if you're looking for two. They look similar but Turmeric is special in that she has a head tilt (our vet has found no reason for this - she's just unique!). She'd likely be happiest in a home without dogs or young kids as she is still a little shy, but we've been proven wrong before!
