Turkey's Story

Meet Turkey! If you are looking for a classic orange kitten, then Turkey is perfect for you! Little Turkey came to Orphan Kitten Project the week of Thanksgiving with a severe abdominal hernia. Because of the holiday (and that it looked like his stuffing was falling out), we decided to name him Turkey! Even his medical condition could not stop him from being a VERY orange kitten. He is extremely playful and loves to play with any type of toy nonstop. One of his favorite activities is jumping around and tackling his foster sister. He adores all types of treats, especially Churu tubes! Even though he is the stereotypical "Orange Cat", he is still very loving. When held in your arms, he is a nonstop purr machine! He loves to tip his head back and close his eyes while getting gentle head scratches. Turkey has been doing a lot of growing and has finally been large enough for surgical correction of his hernia! He received surgery and has recovered perfectly! Now that his stuffing is back where it should be, he is available for adoption. Turkey is the perfect balance of play and affection! If you are interested in adopting Turkey, please apply today!

Turkey is very social, and thus would do best if adopted with another kitten or in a house that already has another kitty companion at home.

Turkey's estimated birthday is 10/5/25.

If you're interested in adopting any of our kittens please fill out the adoption application and please note which kitten you're interested in meeting: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSenKCEx6kQ-VU9okR7C70MDijsjDHV1VO_7XlBR33tlpsYrUQ/viewform

Please allow up to 48-72 hours after submitting an application to reach out regarding the adoption process - thank you!
