Tuna Steak

Tuna (short for "Tuna Steak") is a very chatty, obedient, relaxed, and social adult tabby. He most enjoys regular petting sessions, napping beside his human, following humans around, and getting surprise treats. He is loyal, communicative, accommodating, friendly with children and strangers alike, and is good at learning and adapting to new rules and environments on a dime. Tuna would likely do best in a low to moderate energy household where he is equally free to graze on dry food, nuzzle up for smothering pets and lounge about. <br/><br/>Interested in Tuna? Our cats are vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and tested for FeLV, FIV, and Heartworm disease before being placed in carefully selected homes.<br/><br/>We are foster–based, meaning we do not have a facility. All of our cats are in foster homes in the Southern Maryland area. Our goal is to protect animals in the Chesapeake Bay area and beyond. We connect animals in need to safe homes and facilitate their access to quality veterinary care. Our rescue also provides trap-neuter-return, education, and outreach services to support the well-being of animals within the community at-large. This organization emphasizes transparency and integrity while providing educational resources to support the humane treatment of animals.
