Meet Tuna
Tuna is a neutered male, shorthaired, brown tigerstripe cat who was born sometime in August 2019. He was found as a stray and was taken in by kind Samaritans. He was previously adopted from our humane society and was brought back because his owner got another cat. He didn't like the other cat and started spraying.
Tuna is currently being kept in our meeting room because he dislikes other cats. His perfect person or family would not have any other cats or dogs at home. We think he'd be very curious about guinea pigs, fish, and other small animals, so that'd be okay.
He LOVES to schmooze!! He'll sit on our laps for a little bit and accepts pets and butt scratches, but he really just loves to schmooze! xD
Tuna LOVES catnip!! He's a bit of an escape artist here even though he has his own room :P But put some catnip in front of him as a distraction and he's okay! xD
Tuna's currently eating Royal Canin Calm and we purchase this from Dakota Veterinary Hospital. He's eating this food because living in an animal shelter can be stressful and this helps keep him calm :) He's pretty talkative when he gets hungry :P
Tuna tested negative for FIV, feline leukemia, and ringworm. He's up-to-date on his vaccinations, neutered, up-to-date on his flea and tick preventative, has been dewormed, and microchipped.
His adoption fee is $100 and we accept cash or check. If you're renting, we require confirmation that you can have Tuna where you're living.
For more information, please call The Humane Society of Richland-Wilkin Counties at 701-672-1676. Leave a message if there is no answer.
