Tums's Story

I was living in a rural Missouri town that has quite a few community cats that aren't treated very well by local residents :-( A nice man took me in to keep me and Pepto safe, but he has terminal cancer and asked for help getting us spayed and finding us homes. The people at Feline Fix who stepped up to help also made sure the other cats in town were trapped to be fixed and placed in rescue so they would be safe, too.

I am a four-paw polydactyl so I'm kind of unique with my catcher-mitt paws. Despite living a hard life before coming to rescue, I am incredibly sweet and just love being around people. I tested positive for FIV but that isn't a big deal because I've been living with other cats who do not have FIV and we all get along great so the risk of transmitting the virus to another cat is pretty much nil (it can only be transmitted through blood and breeding).

I'm hoping someone out there is willing to give me a safe, loving home. I promise to be a wonderful companion and provide lots of love in return!
