TumTum's Story
If you're looking for double the love and a pair of truly devoted companions, meet Tiny and TumTum! While they aren't biological brothers, they grew up together and are the best of friends. Because they rely on each other for comfort and confidence, they are looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Tiny is a 7-year-old orange tabby who is a quiet, observant soul. Weighing in at 18 pounds, he loves surveying his kingdom from the top of a cat tower. He's a bit shy with new people and doesn't care for loud noises or sudden movements, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly sweet. He's the "calm" to his brother's "playful," and he much prefers a long cuddle session over a rowdy wrestling match. TumTum is a 4-year-old fellow with a big personality. At 23 pounds, he is a substantial boy who isn't afraid to be vocal when he wants snuggles! If he sees an empty hand, he'll tuck his head right under it to make sure he gets his pets. While he tends to hide when guests come over, he is a total play-machine once he's comfortable, especially if there are small cat toys to "hunt." Both boys are currently working on their fitness! Because they are both significantly overweight, they will need a dedicated owner who can help them stick to a healthy, portion-controlled diet. Helping them shed those extra pounds will be a huge gift for their long-term health and mobility. Because Tiny and TumTum value a predictable, "drama-free" environment, they are looking for a quiet home without dogs. If there are children in the home, they should be over 12 years old and have experience living with cats. They can also live peacefully with a calm resident cat. If you have the space on your couch--and the commitment to help them on their health journey--these two gentle giants are ready to be your most loyal companions. Their combined adoption fee is $400.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
