Tulip the cat, could not be more appropriately named! Tulip went directly into a foster home & knew nothing of the shelter life. She immediately made herself at home taking a total of zero seconds for her to settle in with her baby daughter Clover (who is also up for adoption). This mama is very attentive to Clover. You can't help but notice her gentle soul & loving heart. Tulip maintains an over all happy, calm & in control personality. Except when Clover wants to play; she gives 110% of herself to playtime. Her favorite has to be when she zooms around the house & then leaping onto the couch for a break, like this is Timeout! Or maybe its play wrestling with Clover, sometimes letting her win!. Tulip loves to talk; the sounds she makes reminds you of if she was just walking around humming to herself. Just another sign of contentment in this girl. Regular check in's are a must for her as she comes randomly throughout the day for some scratches & kisses. You would swear you can see her smile. Come night time, she loves the spot at the foot of the bed; claimed as her own, she only shares with you guessed it... Clover! Tulip was in a foster home with other cats & large calm dogs getting along fabulously with all of them. An introduction to small animals showed Tulip's gentle side once again. She recently arrived at the shelter and, despite the initial difficulty of the transition, she has now settled in well. She loves to relax looking out the window & having naps on the cat trees. Tulip would make a great addition to any household; Especially those who are after an indoor/outdoor companion. Don't let this sweet girl pass you by.
