TUCKS's Story
Tucks is a big, beat up, tom cat. He has multiple battle scars, a cauliflowere ear, but has the most soothing purr you will ever hear. It isn't too loud, but just a nice soft, quiet, even, soothing rumble. This sweet boy is ready to retire his battles and enjoy a quiet life of luxury. He is overstimulated here in the shelter and not happy being handled. He enjoys head scritches on his terms and loves Churu treats. He would be okay as an indoor/outdoor only cat, but probably not well suited for small kids. The Haywood County Animal Services Adoption Center is located at 453 Jones Cove Road, Clyde, NC 28721. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 12pm - 5pm and Saturday 12pm - 4pm. Closed Sundays. Contact the Adoption Center directly at 828-456-5338 ext. 2 or send an email to adoptapet@haywoodcountync.gov.
