Tucker's Story

Tucker was born in foster with his 4 siblings. He is ready for his forever home! He is playful, fun, and likes to be petted. He enjoys his room he shares with his siblings. He would love to have a kitty buddy, possibly one of his siblings. If you are interested in adopting Tucker, please fill out an application for him.

This kitten is too young to be neutered at this time and is also too young to receive his 1st rabies vaccination. Adopters are required to fill out a Kitten Addendum and a separate check for a $100 security deposit at the time of adoption. These serve as a 'promise' that the adopter will make sure the kitten receives their sterilization and vaccinations when they are old enough. The check will be returned to the adopter once we receive confirmation from a veterinarian that the kitten has been brought into their facility. Thank you for helping us battle the cat overpopulation crisis!

Tucker's adoption fee is $75 which includes his neuter, microchip, rabies and FVRCP vaccines, flea/tick preventative, and dewormer. If you have any questions, please contact us at safehaven1471@gmail.com or 815-858-2265.

Once someone picks out a cat or a dog they would like to adopt from us, we ask them to fill out an adoption application on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. After the application is reviewed (within 1 to 2 business days) we will try to contact the applicant by calling or emailing them. If the adoption is approved, we will then try to set up a day and time that the adopters can come to the shelter to pick up their new pet! At that time we will have the new owners sign some paperwork and provide us with the adoption donation fee. The adoption donation fee for a dog is $200. The adoption donation fee for a cat is $75.
