Tuca's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

Named after the Brazilian berry tucumã—a fruit known for its strength and energy—Tuca lives up to his name with his lively, playful spirit and big heart. He was the largest of his litter, and the moment he sees you, he’ll come running with happy purrs and cuddles. Always first in line for mealtime, Tuca’s enthusiasm for food is matched only by his zest for play. He has endless energy for the wand toy and could chase it tirelessly, while balls of every shape and size bring out his inner soccer star. With his long legs and extra-long tail, he may look a little clumsy at times, but don’t be fooled - he’s agile, charming, and always ready to entertain. Tuca is curious, fearless, and a true explorer - you might find him investigating the most unexpected places! He happily meets new animals and loves discovering his surroundings. When it’s time to rest, you’ll find him stretched out in his signature “Super Kitten” sploot, curled up on his favourite blanket, or nestled nearby so he can sleep close to his people. Tuca would love to be adopted with his sister, Jabu.

Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.
