She needs some time to feel comfortable and get to know you, but once she does, you’ll find a genuinely sweet and wonderful girl underneath that initial shyness.<br/><br/>And Truffle has learned something about herself along the way: she really doesn’t want to share her person. <br/><br/>While she is sweet with people, Truffle can be a bit of a bully toward other more reserved cats. She seems to feel most comfortable when she doesn’t have to compete for attention, so we think she would absolutely love being an only cat. Imagine it — no other kitties to interrupt, no one else getting the prime lap spot, and all the affection belongs to Truffle!<br/><br/>Her preference for being the only cat doesn't mean she isn't a great girl. Quite the opposite. She is simply looking for a home where she can relax, gain confidence, and enjoy having her people all to herself.<br/><br/>Truffle came to us after her human passed away, and she has had a lot of changes to adjust to.
