*Trudy's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*** Our first step is an application, which can be filled out at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. ***

The adoption fee for this cat/kitten is $80. Many cats and especially kittens do so much better in pairs, which is why we also offer a reduced adoption fee of 2 for $120 and 3 for $150. The adoption fee helps to cover a portion of the care provided, including spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV testing, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies), and any medical care received while with CVRR. All animals are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care.

CVRR is a nonprofit organization; we have no paid staff. Applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process your application, including reference checks and follow-up questions. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for all your references.

Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the cat picks you too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and have you sign the adoption contract. The adoption fee helps to cover a portion of the care provided to the animals. By the time of adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on medical care.

CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out at any time, you are agreeing to return the cat to CVRR. We will reevaluate and choose a new home based on the best fit for each particular animal.

*** Our first step is an application, which can be filled out at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. ***
