Troy's Story

Troy was found as a stray kitten, and was rather spicy. However, Troy has warmed up to being an indoor cat and is learning how special it is every day. He isn't a fan of being held, but he enjoys pets and his favorite humans. Troy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, routinely treated for fleas and worms, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm. His estimated DOB is 4/1/2025. NOTE: Kittens under 4 months cannot be adopted as a single kitten unless there is already another cat in the home. All cats/kittens come with 30 days of free post-adoption support to Petcademy's team of trainers and behaviorists, as well as access to online materials to help settle your new furbaby into your home. We screen applicants by checking at least 2 personal references and vet records/references. Application is provided via online Jotform. Renters will require authorization to make sure pets are permitted. Please allow our volunteers up to 48 hours to process all applications. To ensure healthy development, we do not adopt out single kittens under 4 months old unless there is already another cat in the home. Kittens learn essential behaviors from other felines, and early socialization reduces the risk of future behavioral issues.
