Trout's Story

Get ready to make a splash! Meet Trout and Minnow, a stunning, bonded pair of sisters ready to lure you in with their amazing personalities. If you're looking to bring twice the energy, twice the play, and twice the love into your home, this duo is the catch of the day! Minnow truly brings the crazy energy to the room; she's always on the move, turning everyday objects--even your feet--into exciting new toys. Her sister, Trout, is equally extremely playful and even has a fun, unique habit of playing with water! These two are inseparable: they sleep together most days and love chasing balls side-by-side. Minnow is the more outgoing sister--she's instantly friendly with kids of all ages and new people. She acts as Trout's confidence booster, as Trout is a little timid at first but quickly warms up with Minnow's help. When they finally settle down, high-energy Minnow is a devoted cuddle bug, while Trout prefers to cuddle on her own time, seeking you out for affection when she's ready. Trout and Minnow must be adopted together. Their bond is essential for their happiness and adjustment, ensuring Trout stays confident and Minnow always has a playmate. Both girls are great with children, though we recommend gentle kids over 5 to ensure Trout's initial shyness is respected. While they are focused on each other, they would likely do well with a cat-friendly dog after a proper, slow introduction. Since they are a highly active pair, they'll need plenty of space, scratching posts, and daily interactive play to keep them stimulated and happy. Don't let these two slip away! If you're ready for an action-packed, affectionate life with two amazing sisters, Trout and Minnow are reeling with excitement to meet you! Their combined adoption fee is $500.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available. We are not able to contact you to switch your appointment.

Stay up-to-date with all events and happenings at Caring for Cats!
