Trooper's Story

Meet Trooper the sweetest little tuxedo boy who is about 2.5 years old and 9 pounds with soft sleek short hair. He is spayed, up-to-date on shots, FELV/FEV negative and microchipped. Trooper was TNR'd and microchipped by someone in Maryland who three weeks later dumped him in NJ, abandoning this little boy. How cruel!!! Trooper struggled to survive outside for a month before we captured him and took him to the vet for a clean bill of health. He was in survival mode not trusting anyone. I chose to take Trooper in and work with him and I'm glad I did. Trooper has turned into an AMAZING cat. Once he learned to trust me, he did a 100% turnaround. All in!! Always purring and he likes to be close by. He likes my cats and probably would be best with a cat companion. Not sure about dogs or children. Trooper loves to sleep with me at night and in the morning will be close by purring at my head. He also has the cutest little strut. He has plenty of energy and is driven by love and affection not food. Trooper will need an experience adopter or somebody willing to give him time to trust and adjust to his new home. He likes gentleness. Once Trooper knows to trust you. He will be your best buddy. Trooper is looking for a great forever home. He did not deserve to be abandon. All he wants it to be loved.
