Hi, I’m Trixie.<br/><br/>I came to Crestwood Animal Shelter with my kitten, Scooter. My job as Mom is officially finished—Scooter has been adopted—and now it’s my turn to find a home of my own.<br/><br/>I’ll admit, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about shelter life when I first arrived. New place. New people. Lots of changes. I needed some time to figure everyone out.<br/><br/>And I did.<br/><br/>These days, I’ve become much more comfortable with the volunteers, and they’ve gotten to know the cat behind those big green eyes. I’m chill, I’m playful, and I’ve made quite a few friends around here. In fact, the volunteers have become pretty fond of me.<br/><br/>My story is also a good reminder that the cat you meet in a shelter may still be adjusting. I needed some time to feel comfortable enough to let more of myself show.<br/><br/>Scooter found his family.
