Meet Tristan
Tristan (i.e. melancholy, sad) earned his name because he looked sad when he came to us. He didn't fare well outside. Now that he's safe and his wounds are healed, he has really perked up. This big boy is a very food-motivated! He likes to spend time with his person and be petted and brushed. He is good at communicating his boundaries so he needs someone patient who will listen to him. This lover boy would likely do best in a home with people familiar with cats and their body language; a home without young children would be best. In his foster home he was quite skittish and fearful at first, but he has warmed up very quickly. He loves catnip and catnip toys! Tristan is eager to find his new family!
