Meet Tristan, a friendly, handsome buff tabby stray with glowing gold eyes who was found in Grand Rapids. <br/><br/>Tristan enjoys pets, especially near his head and neck. He appreciates calm, gentle pets as vigorous petting can over excite him. He definitely loves attention and will follow you and call out to ensure you know he is ready for some lovin'. He also likes to play which is a good way to bond with him and for energy release on his behalf.<br/><br/>Tristan would be best for an experienced cat person whether a single person, couple, or a family with older respectful children. Tristan at times whether it's to get attention or has had his fill of attention can sometimes nip. His foster Mom indicates this behavior has improved and she also has been better able to read his cues. She continues to work with him. She describes him as "sweet", follows she and her husband around the house and likes to sleep at the edge of their bed every night. Tristan would be great for an adopter who would like companionship from a cat but doesn't want a needy cat. Tristan has a good mix of affection and solo time.
