Tristan 's Story

Meet Tristan, a friendly, handsome buff tabby stray with glowing gold eyes who was found in Grand Rapids. Tristan has had some fur loss on his tail related to "stud tail" but now that he is neutered, his fur will grow back.

Tristan enjoys pets, especially near his head and neck. He appreciates calm, gentle pets as vigorous petting can over excite him. He definitely loves attention and will follow you and call out to ensure you know he is ready for some lovin'. He also likes to play which is a good way to bond with him and for energy release on his behalf.

Tristan would be best for an experienced cat person whether a single person, couple, or a family with older children. Tristan can get a little excited and be a little swatty so older children would be better as it's important to be able to read his cues.

Tristan has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Tristan has an approximate birthdate of 04-19-2023. His adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Tristan or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
