Trish's Story

MEET TRISH, one of 4 cats up for adoption. This feline family is looking for a new beginning after the loss of their beloved owner. With no family members able to care for them, these four indoor kitties are now hoping to find a calm, loving home. CHARLIE, now 5 years old, is the heart of the group. She gave birth to her kittens, now 4 years old, right on her owner’s bed, and they’ve all stayed together ever since. She’s affectionate and enjoys attention, but she also has a bit of sass that makes her personality shine. GARTH is a gentle, sweet boy who loves belly rubs once he feels comfortable. He can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with patience, his loving nature comes through. TRISH is the quiet observer of the group. Calm and easygoing, she enjoys gentle pets and being close to her family members. REBA is the most reserved and takes time to warm up to new faces. She finds comfort in Charlie and looks to her for reassurance, especially in unfamiliar situations. All four cats have spent their entire lives indoors in a peaceful, low-activity home. They will do best in a similar environment where they can adjust at their own pace. While it would be wonderful to keep them all together, they will likely be adopted in pairs to help ease the transition and keep those important connections intact. They are all spayed and neutered and ready to go home with you right away.

Please use these intake numbers when making inquiries at the shelter:

CHARLIE (A060440) ~ GARTH (A060439) ~ TRISH (A060437) – REBA (A060438)

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations will be microchipped.
