Tripp (FeLV+)'s Story

Tripp is a young tabby with a gentle nature and striking markings that make him a real standout. He was rescued during a Trap-Neuter-Return project by one of our volunteers and has been slowly but surely coming out of his shell in a caring foster home. He’s still a bit shy around new people, but once he feels safe, he’s incredibly sweet and affectionate.

One of his favorite things is curling up in his foster mom’s lap, purring softly while making biscuits. He’s playful too—especially when treats like Churu are involved—and he’s learning to enjoy the simple comforts of indoor life. Tripp would thrive in a calm, patient household where he can build trust at his own pace.

He’s fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Tripp is FeLV+ (feline leukemia positive), so he’ll need to be the only cat or live with other FeLV+ cats. He does not have any current symptoms. The virus isn’t contagious to dogs or people.

If you think Tripp might be the right fit for your home, fill out an adoption application to set up a time to meet him: https://www.scratchinc.org/adoption.

The cat's foster has final say on who adopts their cat or kitten. There is a contract that must be signed, as well.
