Treasure's Story
Treasure is a gentle, sweet-natured boy who is looking for a patient, loving forever home. He was found this past winter after being abandoned at a marina in Johnson City, Tennessee—a location where cats are sadly dumped far too often. Left behind in the rain with only his litter box and food, Treasure was frightened and overwhelmed. Thankfully, a kind woman was able to safely pick him up and bring him to safety.

Since entering foster care, Treasure has been slowly learning that people can be trusted. While he is shy at first, once he feels safe, he is incredibly affectionate and loves being petted. He has also done wonderfully with the other cats in his foster home.

Treasure would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with someone who understands that trust takes time. He'll need a family willing to let him adjust at his own pace, but their patience will be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion.

Treasure is neutered, approximately 3 to 5 years old, and is up to date on his rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, deworming, and flea prevention.

If you're looking for a gentle soul who simply needs a chance to feel safe and loved, Treasure may be the perfect addition to your family.
