Toyo's Story

Meet Toyo, an inquisitive little guy with a squeaky meow who likes to talk up a storm. Although he can be a bit timid and shy around unfamiliar people, once he gets to know you, his personality will shine! His heart can be won with patience, gentle attention, and lots of playtime (feather wand toys are his favorite), and most importantly, tender pets and reassurance. He’s also a fan of Churu treats and Temptations. Toyo was an owner surrender due to a conflict with another cat in the household, and would do best as your one and only. If you’re looking for a calm companion who will blossom with love and trust, this sweet feline just might be your perfect match! You can meet Toyo at our Mo’ili’ili Campus.

Hawaiian Humane Society's Adoption Policy

A photo ID is required at the time of all adoptions. Hawaiian Humane operates on a first come, first served basis, if you complete a questionnaire for a particular pet online, that does not reserve the pet. To best serve you, check in at least 30 minutes before closing to meet with an adoptions representative. Please note that if you wish to conduct a meet-and-greet between your dog and one of our available dogs, due to the high volume of visitors, you may be asked to wait outside our gate with your pet until an adoptions representative is available or reschedule for a different day.
