Totoro - At Felius Cat Cafe

Totoro is a beautiful gray gentleman who can be a bit shy at first, but once he knows he's safe his sweet nature shines through! He isn't motivated by treats when feeling nervous, but earn his trust and he'll happily enjoy a Churu treat right from your hand! He loves pets and affection, though he prefers to enjoy your company alongside you rather than being a lap cat or cuddler. Totoro is clever and curious, and has figured out how to open cabinets, so get ready to find him in a few creative, cozy spots! He enjoys his quiet "introvert time" during the day (often burrowed safely under the bed covers), but comes alive with energy in the mornings and evenings.

Totoro is currently taking anxiety medication to help him feel more comfortable and confident. His medication needs may change over time as he settles into a home, so his future adopters should be prepared to continue working with their veterinarian to determine what is best for him. Our rescue team is happy to answer any questions about his medication, care, or personality ahead of time to help potential adopters feel prepared.

Totoro is looking for a patient, understanding home that will let him settle in at his own pace. Once he warms up, you'll have a loyal, fun-loving, and sweet companion!

All Felius cats & kittens are: Fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, dewormed, and triple-tested (FeLV, FIV, Heartworm). Adoption includes an application, vet/reference check & virtual home visit.

You can apply to adopt Totoro here: https://felius.org/adopt/
