Tortie (Colony Cat CC)'s Story

Tortie is part of the feral cat colony that came to the shelter a few years ago. Some of the cats like to play with toys and others can be petted, most have a long way to go. We decided it’s time to seek out cat savvy adopters with experience raising or interacting with semi-feral cats, who would enjoy the socializing process and the rewards of rescuing these stunning felines. Since they have lived in a large cat colony, they will do best with a companion cat from their colony family. These cats have been through a lot and going into a new home without a cat friend would no doubt be stressful.

Tortie, loves her best friend Moon and has also made great progress in socialization and now enjoys occasional treats. Tortie would appreciate a loving, low-key home where she can continue building trust at her own pace.

See Tortie on our Safe Haven Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8wVblQOz-b/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

If you are interested in meeting any of the cats in the colony, please go to our website and fill out an adoption application and we will be in touch to make an appointment for your visit. Filling out an application is not a commitment to adopt.

https://www.safehavenhumanesociety.org/adoption-form/
