Meet Tonka! Tonka came to us from a construction site, along with his mother and half-brother. They were a little too interested in the equipment. While we admire their passion, it wasn't a safe place for them. Tonka stayed at the center for a little while, then went to a foster home, where his personality truly blossomed.<br/><br/>Tonka is SWEET as he can possibly be. He loves playing with other cats but really he is a people cat. He is a lap cat; he could spend all day with you, but he is very demanding to be pet. He will literally reach his arms out at you like he is saying “uppies” and wants to be carried around. He will also jump on you if he doesn’t get his way. He can be shy in new situations, but warms up quickly with toys and pets. He is also super, super soft, and keeps himself very clean.<br/><br/>Tonka is great around other cats and even kids. He has not been tested with dogs.<br/><br/>Tonka is estimated to be 6 months old as of December 2025. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
