Hey!! My name is Toni....Toni with an i because I am a sophisticated lady and I ain't gonna be looked at as some goofy man Tony with a y. I am what you call....a....sassy gal with a mind of her own...per say. Things WILL BE on my terms...no questions about it. I like attention and being pet, yes, but when I am done, yo I am done.. and well I will let you know if you don't stop. Unless you know how to pick me up when I am comfy...then don't. I need someone with brains to know how I like it. Because I am a "particular" lady....please don't put me in a home with small children or the elderly(I don't want to have to hurt them ;)) I need a home with someone with the smarts and understandability to know my quirks and "attitude"...which is labeled by the staff here not me. I'm just me...deal with it. Ha!

The adoption process may take up to one hour to complete but we’ll keep it as simple and streamlined as possible. Here are the steps when you’re considering adopting a pet: - Visit our website to see available animals or see them on-site during regular hours, seven days a week. - When you find a dog, cat or small animal you would like to spend more time with, simply call the Humane Society of the Black Hills at (605) 394-4170 for an appointment. - Occasionally, our team is able to accommodate walk-ins, but as we cannot guarantee them, it is best to call for an appointment. -During your scheduled appointment, an adoption advisor will review the animal's history with you and bring the animal to meet you for an initial visit. - A second appointment may be made for you for a variety of reasons (Ex. You have a dog at home you'd like to bring in to meet the pet next). -Once you have met a pet that you think is your perfect match and you have been approved to adopt, your adoption advisor will take you through the adoption process, and you can take your new family member home!
