He has FIV, which means he has a weaker immune system than most cats. FIV cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats. Tommy may be a senior, but he's full of love and still enjoys spending time close to his favorite people. Animal Protective League's Adoption Policy

We have plenty of dogs and cats just waiting to meet you! Our adoption center is open from Noon to 5pm every day. If you see an animal on Petfinder please feel free to call our shelter at 217-544-PETS (7387) to inquire if the animal is at the shelter or in one of our foster homes. There is a simple application process that you will need to complete prior to approval for adoption. Although we occasionally run adoption specials, our regular adoption fees for cats are $50 or two for $65. Our pricing on dogs is variable. Every animal has been spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for heartworms or FeLV/FIV, and is current on all vaccines. That’s over a $350 value!
