Tommy's Story

Tommy is a sweet and affectionate 10-year-old domestic shorthair who loves nothing more than chin scratches and good company. He's a world-class snuggler who will happily curl up with you for naps, TV time, or just quiet moments together.

He's known for his charming little chirps-his own special way of saying hello-and he'll be right there to greet you at the door with a friendly welcome.

He has FIV, which means he has a weaker immune system than most cats. FIV cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats.

Tommy may be a senior, but he's full of love and still enjoys spending time close to his favorite people. If you're looking for a calm, gentle companion who thrives on affection, Tommy is ready to bring warmth and comfort into your life. Come meet him at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We're open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
