Did he get his whiskers caught somewhere or were a few of them get snipped off in his past? How did this cuddly, vocal kitty ever get lost out in the cold and forget his life as a housecat? And of course, where did his name come from?</p><br/><br/><p>Tom Cruise was scooped up -afraid, shut down, not neutered and alone- by the good folks at Angels of Hope in a rural southern community. He opened up once in a quiet foster home and was shown some love. His dirt cover feet were cleaned, his bad ear mites treated, his thick fur brushed out. Now, he's been shown the red carpet treatment - and smells a lot better!- he likes to sleep cuddled up on his foster mom's pillow, head on the pillow just like her, softly snoring. He's keeping a keen eye on the neighbourhood squirrels and bird friends from the window sill and loves to chase cat toys up and down the stairs.</p><br/><br/><p>A bit flighty from his time fending for himself, he never turns down a meal. He occasionally takes a swipe at you to let you know play time is done, but is otherwise quite gentle and affectionate. Not one to bite his tongue, he is a vocal kitty both providing constructive criticism and praise!</p><br/><br/><p>While its unclear how old Tom is, he is likely a year or two old.
