Token

Meet Token! <br/><br/><br/>Token is a beautiful calico kitten who is very cute and cuddly and sweet, especially with her sister Light. She does seem to like pets and love from our caretakers, and is curious and interested in human attention, but may still do cute little hisses, as she's still getting used to people. She calms down and becomes much more relaxed when she is wrapped in a little blanket "purrito" when our caretakers are working with her outside her kennel. <br/><br/><br/>Token was discovered in a closet, inside the finder's home! Her feral mama left her behind, along with two siblings, since it probably seemed like a nice protected spot. <br/><br/><br/>All three babies she left behind were underweight, dealing with fleas, parasites, eye goop, and upper respiratory issues, so despite the finder kindly getting them some initial vet care, they knew that these kitties needed attention beyond what they were able to give. <br/><br/><br/>We stepped in, and took over care, and have been working very carefully with them. Right now Token is gaining weight day by day, and receiving the necessary medications and care for the rest of her symptoms to resolve. <br/><br/><br/>We expect that Token is going to be super friendly and snuggly once she gets just a little more healthy, and gets to experience a little more of the love and fun side of human companions.
