TOFFEE's Story
Toffee is a one-and-a-half-year-old brown tabby/calico with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. She was found in an abandoned vehicle, and despite her rough start, she’s proven to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. Once she feels safe, Toffee loves soaking up attention and keeping an eye on everything happening around her.

Like many cats, Toffee will need some time to adjust to a new home and family. A patient adopter who gives her space to settle in will be rewarded with a loving and loyal companion. She’ll thrive in a home that offers plenty of enrichment—think fun toys, a sturdy scratching post, and a cozy cat tree where she can climb, perch, and observe.

Toffee would do best in a home with children aged 5 and older who can respect her boundaries. She has never lived with dogs, so if there’s a canine in the home, slow and proper introductions will be essential.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate kitty who just needs a little time and love to shine, Toffee might be your perfect match! If you are interested in meeting Toffee or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm. Adoption fee $50
