He loves chasing toys and exploring his surroundings, and once he feels safe, he enjoys pets and will happily sit next to you for some quiet affection. Toffee-Tastic may be a little shy at first, which has made it harder for him to find the right match, but with a little patience and understanding, he truly blossoms. Toffee-Tastic is currently being fostered through our unique âÂ€ÂœCat DormâÂ€Â program, where heâÂ€ÂTMs cared for by young women in a juvenile detention center. In return, his presence brings comfort, calm, and companionship, while helping teach the teens valuable life skills like empathy, responsibility, and compassion. ItâÂ€ÂTMs a powerful bond thatâÂ€ÂTMs been meaningful for both the cats and the girls caring for them. HeâÂ€ÂTMs great with other cats of all ages and does well with a consistent routine. Toffee-Tastic enjoys dry food throughout the day, with some wet food once a day, and heâÂ€ÂTMs perfectly litterbox trained. If youâÂ€ÂTMre ready to give a sweet, playful cat the time and love he needs to feel at home, Toffee-Tastic could be the perfect companion. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise. Dallas Pets Alive's Adoption Policy

To adopt a pet from Dallas Pets Alive!, you must: — Be at least 18 years of age. — Be willing and able to spend the time and resources necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for your new pet. — Have an unexpired, government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s license or state ID) that lists your current address. If your ID does not list your current address, we will accept an unexpired photo ID along with a current utility bill. — Live within four hours of Dallas. — Provide written verification of home ownership or landlord’s approval to have a pet of the breed and size at your residence.
