Meet Toes

Meet Toes, a charming feline in search of her forever home! Toes found her way to our shelter due to some urinary issues, but after some investigation, we discovered she's diabetic. Don't worry though, with daily insulin, she's doing great and has no trouble using the litterbox now. Keep in mind, her diabetes requires lifelong treatment and expense, so please consider this when thinking about adoption. She takes her insulin shots like a champ and never makes a fuss!

Despite her medical condition, Toes is a sweetheart with a calm and gentle demeanor. She gets along well with other cats and is about 5 years old, weighing approximately 12lbs. Toes has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, so she's all set to join her new family. She is extremely laid-back and not much phases her at all; she is truly such an awesome girl in all regards.

At Stafford County Animal Shelter, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our animals. To streamline the adoption process, we kindly ask you to bring a picture ID with your current address. If your address isn't on your ID, please bring a recent bill showing your name and address along with your ID. This ensures our animals' security and welfare during adoption.

For the safety of our feline friends, we require all cats to be transported in carriers. Please come prepared with one; if you don't have a carrier, we offer cardboard carriers for sale at $5 each. These ensure a comfortable and secure journey for your new furry friend to their forever home.

We welcome walk-in visits during our regular hours, but please note that adoptions conclude 30 minutes before closing time. Adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise specified.

Thank you for considering adoption and providing a loving home to a shelter pet. Your compassion makes a world of difference to these animals. Visit us at Stafford County Animal Shelter to find your perfect companion!
