Toby The Hemingway Cat's Story
Toby is a awesome guy and so very handsome. He's my little jungle cat. This guy is a hunk. At nine months old, he is long and lean with a thick grey coat and big front paws that he likes to use as little hands. He will take my hand in his and lick my hand. Or he tells me he needs pets. He also loves to help hold his Churu (kitty squeeze snack). Being a polydactyl doesn't always mean they'll use the extra big paws, but Toby certainly does put them to work in the cutest ways!

Toby is a best friend kind of cat. He never causes any trouble but always comes to cheer me up should he sense I need a bit of his love. He will purr and rub against me and if I am busy doing something else he will sit by me. He is so good for the soul.

He came into rescue in January as a kitten and while we received a good amount of interest in him, we just could not separate him from his best friend.

Toby has become brothers with his foster buddy Charlie, a sweet tuxedo about the same age with a calm, loving vibe. These two are often found curled up together enjoy the view from a high perch. Toby is especially fond of laying in windowsills and bonus if a squirrel scurries by.

Because of their bond, we’d love to see Toby and Charlie adopted as a duo. Both boys would also do best in a calm home—he’s a sensitive soul who thrives with gentleness and love.

Ready to give this loving boy (and his best friend Charlie!) a forever home?
Apply here: tinyurl.com/Application-to-Adopt-My-Kitty
