Standing up on his back legs, stretching his little paws out dramatically, and demanding to be picked up immediately. Resistance is futile. He will not be denied! Once you scoop him up, he’s happiest being held like a baby, soaking in the snuggles.<br/><br/>But Toby isn’t just a cuddle bug — he’s also a professional toy enthusiast. Toss a toy and watch him spring into action like a tiny striped athlete. He loves batting them around, chasing them across the room, and occasionally carrying them off like he just won a championship game.<br/><br/>He’s also got a funny, talkative personality and will happily narrate his day, give opinions on your life choices, and politely remind you when it’s time for more cuddles.<br/><br/>Toby’s story started a little differently — he was found abandoned in a cherry orchard outside of Stockton. An incredibly kind woman took him in and tried everything she could to find his family, reaching out far and wide with no luck. Thankfully, Garlic City Kitty Rescue stepped up to give Toby the second chance he deserves.<br/><br/>Now he’s ready for his happily-ever-after — preferably one with lots of toys, unlimited cuddles, and a human who understands that he must be held like a baby on demand.<br/><br/>✨ Toby is available for adoption through Garlic City Kitty Rescue.
