Toasty's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. For those familiar with “wedgeheads” or “wedgies,” Toasty’s sleek, elegant figure might look a bit familiar, and she may very well have some wedgie DNA in her family tree! Born in 2025, this petite girl is currently enjoying plenty of kitten food as foster dad works on helping her fill out and gain a little extra fluff.
It took Toasty a few weeks to settle in and feel comfortable around the other foster cats. These days she may occasionally voice her opinion with a grumble or two, but for the most part she prefers doing her own thing. Rather than joining the kitty social scene, she seems perfectly content embracing the independent lifestyle cats are so famous for.
One thing Toasty absolutely loves is a good vantage point. She can often be found perched atop a cat tree during the day and supervising her kingdom from a chest of drawers at night. An open window or door is even better, giving her front-row seats to all the exciting sights and sounds of the outside world.
While Toasty may not consider herself a full-time lap cat, she does have a soft side. We even have photographic evidence of her snoozing peacefully in foster dad’s lap! And although she may not be the ultimate bed-snuggling champion, she has been known to curl up in foster dads bed at night when the mood strikes her. It’s her way of reminding you that affection from Toasty is special, and always on her terms.
âœ... Neutered âœ... FIV/FeLV negative âœ... Current on rabies and distemper vaccines âœ...
