Toast's Story
Toast came to the rescue as small feral kitten two years ago. He was adopted into a loving home when his eyes suddenly began to cloud over. He was taken to a veterinary eye specialist who said it was genetic. Toast has minimal vision and his corneas are cloudy.

For his safety, Toast had to be returned to the rescue by his family when their dog killed another cat in the home. Toast has been with the foster who cared for him as a little scared kitten.

Toast needs an experienced cat person who understands his vision needs. He would like a quiet home with a feline friend or 2. It would probably be best for Toast to have a home without dogs or very young children who might startle and stress him. However, Toast does love children, so gentle school age children would be great for him.

Toast has experienced a lot in his young life. He’s only 2. Let’s make his next home a forever home where he is safe and loved.
