Meet Tipsy Tater! Cats: Well-matched Dogs: Unknown Kids: Unknown This 7-year-old queen was surrendered to us when her owner had to move out of province and couldn’t find pet-friendly housing. Right away, we knew she had a few medical quirks—she’s a little wobbly in the back end and needs a dental—but what she lacks in balance she makes up for in personality! Tipsy is a social, full-figured baddie with a heart of gold. After diagnostics our vet believes we are dealing with a nerological issue. We have her on a steriod currently and are giving her monthly solensia injection which seems to be doing the trick and our girl is feeling good. Tipsy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, FeLV & FIV negative, recently had a dental cleaning and bloodwork, and is up to date on parasite prevention. Her adoption fee is $200 + tax. New Westminster Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AN ANIMAL, please submit an application form. This is the FIRST step in the adoption process. Please do NOT email us just to express interest. https://www.newwestcity.ca/services/animal-services/animal-shelter Our animals have unique personalities and needs. Our goal is to find the most suitable home for them and the most suitable pet for you. We make every effort to place animals in “forever” homes so they don’t find themselves back in a shelter. They’ve already lost their home once, and we don’t want them to go through that again. All applications are reviewed by two shelter staff members. We also conduct a phone interview, at which time we will address any questions or concerns you may have. Typically, we are able to inform applicants within 72 hours. If your application has been approved, we will then schedule a time for you to come pick up your new family member!
