Tipsy's Story

Meet Tipsy: A Sweet Senior Seeking Her Golden Home

Tipsy joined us in February 2025 after her person passed away. This charming girl has quickly shown us her unique personality! At an estimated 12-16 years old (a delightful surprise, as we initially were told she was 6!), Tipsy is a resilient and affectionate senior who's likely mostly or completely deaf. Don't worry though, she has a very distinctive and loud meow that lets you know exactly what she wants!

This girl has a huge purr motor and absolutely demands chin pets—she'll let you know when it's time for some love. While she's not a fan of being picked up, she thrives on gentle affection and finds comfort in tucking away in a cozy hidey hole.

Tipsy is a trooper, gracefully adapting to change with patience. She's currently on medication to help manage her heart murmur and elevated thyroid, liver, and heart functions, and she's doing great. And watch out: if she gets a little spooked, she can be very fast!

She tolerates other pets but isn't looking to form close friendships—she's more interested in her human companions. Tipsy also has a few quirks, like her strong preference for potty breaks on non-carpeted surfaces (she's had no accidents on wood floors!). And if you ever need to move her in a carrier, be prepared for some dramatic "yelling"—it's just her way of protesting!

Tipsy is a special, loving senior who deserves a patient and understanding forever home where she can enjoy her golden years feeling safe, cherished, and adored for all her wonderful quirks. Could your home be the purr-fect fit for Tipsy?
