Tipper's Story

Meet Tipper: Part Grumpy Grandpa, Part Toddler, 100% Himself

Tipper is not your average cat. In fact, Tipper is pretty sure he is not required to follow the normal cat rulebook-and he has strong opinions about almost everything.

This handsome guy has cerebellar hypoplasia (moderate), which means he has some extra challenges with coordination and getting around. He also needs a family who understands that litter box habits may not always be reliable and that he is looking for a very patient, understanding home.

Tipper is a true "love him or... well, let's say he'll let you know how he feels" kind of guy. He's not a fan of everyone, and children are definitely not his favorite audience. But for the right person, there is a sweet side hiding underneath all that attitude.

Every once in a while, Tipper decides you've earned the privilege of affection. He'll climb up, settle in, and basically say, "Fine. You may hold me." Those moments are rare-but when they happen, they feel like winning the lottery.

Tipper's other great love? Bojangles biscuits. He knows exactly where the good stuff happens and has made his feelings very clear when the biscuit delivery system does not meet his expectations. He would like everyone to understand that ordering, paying, and waiting are unnecessary inconveniences.

Tipper is a grumpy old man and a stubborn toddler rolled into one furry little package. He needs a special adopter who appreciates a cat with personality, boundaries, and a whole lot of sass.

If you're looking for a perfectly imperfect companion who will keep you laughing and occasionally bless you with a cuddle, Tipper may be your guy.
