TipToe's Story
Meet TipToe!
This silly, unique looking gal has had a long journey to where she is now and she is finally ready for her furever home.

Tiptoe came to us at roughly 9 months old at the beginning of summer 2025. A couple said she started meowing at their backdoor and kept returning. They lived off of a ravine with a lot of coyotes and took her in because they were worried for her safety. But it was very hot and they could only keep her in their garage due to their other pets.

When welcoming TipToe into the rescue, we observed that she was very scared, unsocialized, and would flinch at sudden movements. We suspected there was a chance that maybe she had encountered humans before and they were not very nice to her.

She was fully vetted and microchipped and received a clean bill of health. But she required a lot of TLC in the behavior department before she would be able to be considered for placement.

TipToe has come such a long way with a lot of time, patience, knowledge, and understanding. We are so proud of her progress and what she has had to overcome.

Tiptoe is great with men and women, but we think to set her up for success, she should not be adopted into a home with young children. She also prefers to be the center of attention, so we will only place her in a home where she will be the only pet.

Tiptoe is goofy and vocal. She loves very much to hop in your lap for cuddles and to chase wands and toys across the room. She is very food and treat motivated and responds so well to routine. She has so much love to give and will have you laughing everyday.

TipToe deserves a loving home where her family understands that she has to get comfortable at a slower pace because she did not have an easy start. Could this be you??

You may apply for and learn more about TipToe here:

https://www.abdanimalrescueleague.org/ads/feline-adoption-application/
