Tiny Tim, mini prince charming (bonded brother- Tommy Boy)'s Story

Hello there, friend! Thanks for stopping by!

At Hobbes Haven our mission is to help shape & support a better life for feral & stray cat colonies in our varying communities of the Columbia River Gorge.

We want to introduce you to Tiny Tim, mini prince charming (don't forget his bonded brother Tommy Boy)

Tiny Tim got his name because when he first arrived to Hobbes Haven, I noticed not only was he was the runt of his litter but his tiny body did not match his big voice. He has been a singer since he learned that this could get him attention and food! When he arrived, he was so hungry and malnourished that I had to re-train him to drink kitten milk because he would just smoosh his face into the milk, wet food or dry food. Handling Tiny Tim to feed him and keep him clean, has let him grow into a boy that loves to be picked up and held. This little miracle of a boy is a little boomerang: he runs to you, then away to play, then back to you for affection, then back out for food, and on and on. Tiny Tim got a lot of kitten milk, so he is quickly outgrowing his older brother Tommy Boy. He looks like he is going to be a long boy with a gorgeous gray and silver coat and round yellow-green eyes. Tiny Tim and all of his 5 siblings share the same beautiful, captivating and kind eyes.

Tiny Tim & his siblings were so lucky and fortunate to have been rescued as they stumbled out of an orchard looking for help. Their poor mom was found run over a few days earlier, so when a farmer saw the kittens coming out of the orchard, he knew who their mama was and that they would be needing help to survive. Hobbes Haven stepped in and scooped up these 6 neonatal kittens late May to offer them lifesaving care and support.

Due to them being rescued together and tamed for domestication alongside one another, they have endured growth together that has bonded them. Our goal is for Tiny Tim to be adopted with his bonded brother Tommy Boy.

Currently we have an estimated guess that Tiny Tim was mid-May. His adoption fee will cover:
- His neuter: ensuring he will have a kitten free future!
- x3 FVRCP vaccines: August, September & October
- 1 year rabies vaccine at time of neuter
- x2-3 deworming treatments
- Flea bath & monthly long flea protection
- Nail trims
- Microchip with a lifetime subscription.

-----

We hope to find families that will keep in touch with Hobbes Haven and update us with pictures and videos of our rescued friends! Remember that many times we have been fostering these kittens for many months, and that is another reason you know Hobbes Haven is a good-hearted organization to support, because our goal is to find the RIGHT homes, NOT a home RIGHT NOW.
Here at Hobbes Haven we focus on supporting the health and well-being of feral and stray cat colonies via T-N-R-M (Trap- Neuter- Return- Monitor); if we encounter kittens or cats young enough or friendly enough to domesticate, we rescue them from those sites and work with them directly to get them healthy and ready for a second chance at life as a part of a family and a home. Our rescued cats and kittens are unique being that they were born as feral or stray cats, meaning it took more time and involvement to domesticate them may than others. When you support Hobbes Haven via your adoption and donations, you are helping a bigger ripple effect, because you are supporting existing feral cat colonies stop their cycle of suffering by getting all colony cats sterilized and vaccinated, but also offering a very rare second chance to a few lucky ones.
At Hobbes Haven, your adoption fee helps us cover this Cinder's first veterinary care at one of our collaborating veterinary clinics in the Columbia River Gorge.

Up to the point of adoption, Hobbes Haven has covered all expenses out of pocket- your donations help us cover these collective costs and truly make a difference!

-----

Interested in adopting Tiny Tim?
1. Email us via this link or at HobbesHaven@gmail.com- please allow 24-48 hours for a response.
2. Catch us at one of our upcoming Adoption Clinics held at our collaborating veterinary clinics- follow our socials to learn about the next ones coming up!
3. Make an appointment to meet us virtually and see these rescued kittens in a relaxed and comfortable state.

** Note: We are looking for the right families seeking a bonded pair of kittens- our preference for the benefit of the rescued kittens is for them to have a sibling to grow alongside with, this is for their acclimation to their new home and for their overall quality of life.
