Tink's Story

Hi there! My name is Tink, and I am smarter than your average kitty (or so my foster mom says, but also, duh). I love to play but you have to make it worth my while. I am not interested in a toy just dangling in my face. I am a hunter. Give me something to chase and to sneak up on, or better yet, let me prowl and show off my most acrobatic jumping skills and mid air catches! I love to play and want a foster home that can entertain my energy. That being said, I am a calico, or as Dolly Parton might say, I have a coat of many colors. So I also need a good window perch (or two, or ten) to observe my kingdom from. On top of that, I need a solid ear scratch and snuggle pretty much at my beck and call. As mentioned, I am smart, and I have learned the alarm sound will earn me some ear scratches and some food shortly after. Yet, I am shockingly patient and will not force you out of bed with meows (or by sitting on your face as I have witnessed an unsophisticated cat do). I have no problem rubbing against your legs or flopping on the ground in front of you during your morning routine to beg for pets. I am a love bug looking for my forever home. I would be happy in a home with other friendly cats (although I will likely hiss at my new best friend more than once).
Born in June 2025.
foster: erch
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.
