Tina's Story

This tiny kitty is a true gem! Tina was lucky to be rescued during a snowstorm in Northern Ontario, and she was later brought to an Abbey Cats foster home. Tina is a sociable kitten who only stops purring to eat, sleep, and play. She loves to cuddle up on a lap, although she doesn’t stay for long because she is always on the go! Tina’s fur is incredibly soft so it’s great that she enjoys all the pets that she has been getting! Tina easily adapted to the new environment and has been friendly with other foster cats, but she is also happily independent and okay on her own.

**Kitten Policy** Please note: Kittens require the companionship of other kittens and the younger the kitten the more this is so. It is a developmental need. If you do not have animals at home and you only want one cat please look at kittens 6 months or older. By this time in their life we know which cats need the companionship of other animals and which ones would prefer to live without other animals. We provide an adoption service and want to match the right cat with the right home. It is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without other young cats/kittens for company. Please bear this in mind when calling to adopt. *** Due to an unprecedented demand (especially for kittens) we regret that we are unable to respond by phone to all of the applications we are currently receiving. We are only able at this time to phone those applicants who have sent in an online adoption application, can provide a vet reference and their criteria matches what the particular cat or kittens' needs are.
