Tina's Story
***Note: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat ( under 3 ) or kitten. Two is better than one , twice the fun and 1/2 the work .

September 2025 : Please read Tina's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think she would be a good fit then go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption coordinator will be in touch.
Tina and her 3 siblings, Mina , Meeko and Sophie were trapped beginning of July at an outdoor feeding area - they were about 8 weeks at the time. They needed socialization etc but they have come around and ready to find their new homes. Their mother Dawn was trapped a few weeks later, she has been fully vetted but will not be returning to that area as it is unsafe . Tina has been flea treated twice, dewormed twice, received both sets of FVCRP vaccines plus rabies, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350 Tina is a little shy at first until she gets to know you and feels comfortable in her new surroundings, but once she does she loves being petted, purrs up a storm, loves Churros, her spring toys and feather wand. She would love to find a home with Meeko if not she MUST go to a home with another young cat or kitten to keep her company. It is recommended that she start out in a safe room with food, litter and toy until she adjusts to her new environment. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy. She would not be suitable with young children. She is in a foster home in Burlington
