Timmons's Story

Timmons purrsonality is an intriguing mix of 30% love me, 70% give me space, but always 100% adorable! Some might call her aloof or moody, but Timmons prefers to see herself as "exclusively selective" when it comes to sharing her attention and affection. She appreciates alone time and is content without constant attention. That is not to say she does not appreciate a little love. Although Timmons may not be a cuddle bug or lap cat right now, she does enjoy some affection and will seek out a gentle head scritch or snuggle when the mood strikes. You never know; Timmons might blossom into an even more affectionate companion once she is away from shelter life and in a stable, loving furrever home.

Timmons is 9 years old and came to us after her owner sadly had to go into long-term care. The change was a lot for her, and she was not a happy camper when she first came to us. Timmons is now settling in and showing us her softer side (sprinkled with some moments of sassiness). She would love a calm adult-only home where she can have her own space but still be a part of the family's quiet moments. Timmons prefers to be the queen of her castle, and will need to be the only fur baby. She is a healthy gal who uses her litter box well.
