Timber's Story
Meet Timber, one of the Happy Campers litter! This handsome brown-and-white tabby has an estimated birthday of May 17, 2026, and he's already perfected the art of camping: find a cozy spot, keep an eye on the surroundings, locate the snacks, and absolutely do not let anyone touch your favorite bird.

Timber is fine with men and women, interested in children, and happy to play with them. He likes other cats and does well around dogs, although he prefers to observe them from a safe distance and is perfectly willing to tolerate a little barking. When it comes to strangers, Timber can be shy and timid at first, but he is tolerant and will approach once he feels comfortable. He especially enjoys nighttime snuggles, can be picked up, and likes interacting with his people, even if he doesn't always feel the need to seek them out.

Timber does, however, have one very important piece of camping gear: his stuffed squawking bird. He is absolutely obsessed with it, carries it everywhere, and considers it HIS bird. If another kitten tries to play with it, Timber would like to formally file a complaint. He's also a bit of a loner at times and is perfectly content doing his own thing, but don't let that fool you-when playtime begins, this chill camper turns the energy up. He loves lickable treats, loves his food, and is more than willing to fight off his siblings when dinner is served. Apparently, Timber takes the "leave no snack behind" portion of the Happy Camper motto very seriously.

Timber would do well with a family who appreciates a kitten who can be both independent and affectionate, with plenty of playtime, patience, and nighttime cuddle opportunities. And because every Happy Camper needs a buddy around the fire, Timber is required to be adopted into a home with another kitten or young, playful cat. If you're looking for a sweet tabby with a love of adventure, snacks, and one very special stuffed bird, Timber may be ready to set up camp at your house!

Apply to adopt today: sayvanimals.org/adopt

(PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms.
