Tilly's Story

Tilly is a beautiful "dilute tortie". She is grey and peach, with white paws and whiskers. This little dynamo is fearless; she is all about play and adventures. She is the first to leap and pounce on feather and mice toys. When Tilly tires out, she is a love-bug. She chirps to say hello and loves neck and chin scratches. She purrs and snuggles with her people and sometimes snores softly while she snoozes. She loves to stretch out in the sunshine and nap with her bestie Lucy. Tilly will thrive in a home with room to play and people that she can cozy up to when she takes a break from her shenanigans.

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens).
