Tilley's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tilley came in with her two brothers; Percy and Toby. These three were found by someone working at a property and could not leave them there in the condition they were in. It was very clear to her they needed medical care ASAP! She received permission from property owner to take them, and took them immediately to a vet, and they provided our contact information as a possible resource to help them have a place to heal and eventually find homes. These three tiny SICK kittens came to our shelter and have since made themselves right at home. Even the first few nights with us, and even though they were very sick, they played together and ate like maniacs as if nothing was wrong. They are all a joy! Affectionate, playful, and absolutely perfect.

Tilley was the most shy from the start, she normally hid behind her brothers for safety and comfort. This girl continues to show us her true personality more every day. She has become quite friendly and brave. Tilley is now the first one to greet us when we enter the room and has really begun to enjoy our affection. Both Percy and Tilley has significant upper respiratory infections that also included their eyes as well, with both of them having one eye damaged from their illness by the time they were brought into our care. She is scheduled to be spay January 2026 but an approved application will move her up to the next available January date. She will be ready to go home a day or two after his vetting is complete, but may include continued evaluation of her eye and any further recommended treatments/surgery. We are working with our vet to determine if her eye will need to be removed or if it best to leave eye intact. We do not currently believe she will regain vision in her one eye, the other is healthy and includes full vision.

*****IMPORTANT****** We require your home to include a similar aged feline companion. Young kittens will NOT be approved for homes where they will not have another similar aged (kitten= under 1 year of age) companion. If you do not wish to adopt two kittens, please consider selecting a cat nearer to one year of age or older. Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
