Tigger (bonded with Rosie)'s Story
Tigger
Senior
Domestic Longhair
Fully vetted upon adoption, female

Tigger is a beautiful, long-haired orange girl with the softest soul to match her fluffy coat. Though she's a senior, her heart is young and full of love. She still enjoys gentle playtime with her sister Rosie, but her favorite activity by far is being close to her people—cuddling, soaking up affection, and quietly keeping you company.

This sweet girl has an especially endearing quirk: she loves shoes. Not to chew—just to snuggle. You'll often find her curled up on top of them like they're the coziest pillows in the world, as if they bring her comfort and make her feel safe.

Tigger came to Pitties & Kitties Rescue after her beloved owner passed away, and a family member could no longer care for her and her sister. It was a heartbreaking loss, but through it all, Tigger has remained gentle, trusting, and full of love to give.

She has lived happily with her sister and does well with her, though she hasn't been around other cats. She is fearful of dogs and prefers to avoid them, but she shows no aggression—just a desire for a calm, quiet environment where she can feel secure.

Cats: Has lived with her sister; no known experience with other cats.
Dogs: Fearful and avoids them; would do best in a dog-free home or with very calm, respectful dogs and slow introductions.
Kids: Likely to do well with calm, gentle children who understand how to be respectful of a senior kitty's space.

Tigger is the kind of cat who will melt into your arms, curl up beside you, and make your house feel like home. She's soft, loving, and quietly devoted—the perfect companion for someone who wants a gentle soul to share their life and heart with.
