At his teenager stage, he’s friendly, happy, and prefers to move at his own pace—taking the time he needs to feel safe and confident in new surroundings.

With people, Tigger likes to choose the terms of engagement. Let him come to you, and once he’s comfortable, he’ll reward you with deep trust and lifelong loyalty. He’s currently learning the art of being a lap cat and will do best in a quieter home that respects his need for space as he settles in. His adorable trills and constant purring are proof of just how content he feels when he’s relaxed and happy.

Playtime is where Tigger really shines. He can’t wait to show off how high he can jump once you’ve earned his trust! Wand toys are a favorite, but his absolute obsession is little bouncy balls that he tries to catch mid-air with impressive focus and athleticism.

He had been in a home with children, dogs, and cats and did okay, but once he was solo in the foster home, he really shined. We think Tigger would prefer to be the one and only pet in the home, or cohabitate with calm and older animals. The young energetic other pets are a bit much for him.

Tigger will thrive in a home that offers a safe retreat space where he can decompress and slowly explore at his own speed. With patience, kindness, and a calm environment, this sweet and playful boy will blossom into an incredibly devoted companion.

If interested in adopting this kitty, we ask that you please fill out an adoption application. You can find it on www.catsmeowcatrescue.com on the adoptions tab. We will review your application and respond via email as soon as we can. Thank you so much!
